Gaming Help recovering ambassador games

I haven't played my 3ds in forever. I updated it and formatted it in order to remove some date errors in notifications. After I formatted I went to the eshop to download some of my old games but I had no downloads available.

Did you set up a Nintendo Network ID before formatting? If so, you can try calling Nintendo and see if they will restore everything.

If not, you can still try calling Nintendo and see if they will restore it.

If you enter the eShop and look at the redownload software section, aren't they there available to ... well ... redownload ??

They won't restore your titles.
When you hit format it says in caps, "WILL LOSE ALL DATA UNLESS LINKED WITH NNID"
Do tell us if they for some reason decide to restore the games for you.

They restored it and I lost the info to my nnid I didn't know i had. It was just a matter of recovering the nnid and the password.
