Hacking [Help] r4igold.cn cart (mario box)

had this for a while, my r4 is actually blank, i saved the previous contents on my old laptop and is lost forever.
i tried every firmware/kernel(?) but cannot find the right one. i also went to the site but it is all in chinese.

here are some info:
-DSi v1.3E
-the preinstalled game icon is "Alex rider"
-ds displays "an error occurred" black screen

You may be able to download the right update from https://web.archive.org/web/20110723130726/http://www.r4igold.cn/downloade.asp but you can also brick the card when updating it.

Do you have one of the following DSi ware games:
Guitar Rock Tour (Grtpwn), Legends of Exidia (Exidiahax) or Fieldrunners (Fieldrunhax)? You can ignore the names in the bracklet.

i remember updating the dsi accidentally but cancelled it, after that the cartridge never worked. the version is still 1.3E though.

and i didnt have those games

DSTwo is the top cart, and R4i Gold 3DS (www.r4ids.cn) is a legit cheaper cart and pretty much the only R4 cart you should consider buying.

You can safely assume that anything else is fake and/or not worth your time.
