Hacking [Help] R4i Save update?

So I recently got my R4i and I'm kind of new to everything R4 related. I realized that games that get stuck on the loading screen are games with no "Save Update" and the ones that don't get stuck are the ones that have something under the "save Update". An example would be Moonshell, That has something under "Save Update" and that runs fine. Is there a way to fix that or do I just need different Roms?
