Hi:

Does anyone know how to fix this problem, the GC Backup Loader keeps restarting and the NeoGamma says error 1255?

I Hope somone can 'cause i haven't found nothing to fix this.

Thanks a lot!

I have Cios Rev 17 is that what you meant? and i have installed the cMios rev 10 too. And my Wii I bought it used in the US it says manufactured in 2006, the S/N is LU725737113.

ok yell you need to keep your S/N to yourself no one need to know that.

about your problem it sounds like you update your wii, or some how you have changed your cIOS or cMIOS. i suggest you recheck your setup and make sure it's proper.

Read my post above - is there even a v10 cMIOS? Dont you mean MIOS v10 which is not a cMIOS?

ok ya just double checked and it seems the fastest way is just pretend your wii is virgin 4.2 and softmod from step one. at the top of page 73 in NeoGamma Thread there is a psot with your same problem. http://gbatemp.net/t158884-neogamma-thread?&st=1080

i suggest you use this guide start at Modify 4.2 section
Modify ANY Wii 4.2 & below, Up to 4.2, any serial, black wii's, any region

@ocdetective yeah there is a v10
Isnt mIOS v10 for genuine gamecube games or different backup loader? Hence at the moment Wanin's cMIOS is at v5 although WiiPower states Wiigators should be used as Wanin's are not compatible with Neogamma - there is no mention of MIOS compatibility?
Actually simple way to check if you are missing the cIOS would be if "IOS36" was showing on the Neogamma loading screen.

I'll try that

Running syscheck would confirm what cIOS and MIOS you have. Remember WiiPower recommends WiiGators cMIOS for Neogamma and that Neogamma is set to Internal GC Mode (for r9 of neogamma that is).

Well i did the Update now i have the 4.2 i'm not sure if i can play gamecube backups already but here is my syscheck i hope i have everything fine

i don't know what this suff means
