Hacking HELP PLS! DSL not charging

i picked up a used DS Lite. when i plug in the charger, the charging light goes on for half a second, then turns off. the DS won't turn on. i thought one of the ribbons might be loose, so i opened it up and double checked every connection. everything looks fine. i checked inside the socket for the charger, the soldering to the mother board and the plug for the charger. everything looks ok. the charger works fine on my other DSL and i even tried swapping batteries with no change in results. anyone have a similar experience? any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

F2 fuse has blown.

For some reason these have been occurring a lot recently.

nope. got it used because the only problem (so i thought) was that the power switch was stuck in the ON position. after i got the switch un-stuck, i found the issue with the charging. so this fuse being blown, is it repairable? thanks for the info guys

haha. yeah, i just finished reading that very article and found some replacement fuses on eBay. might as well try it or have a fancy paper weight
