It´s true?

no, flashcards won't brick the 3DS. you can get that 3DS, don't worry.

flashcarts won't brick your 3DS. That's just what nintendo is saying is possible in order to intimidate us. Just make sure that your SuperCard DSTWO is already flashed to work with 3DS v2.0.0-2

But only after you update the dstwo to firmware 1.12, you can find instructions in the Beginner's Guide sticky, but if your 3ds is already on 2.0.0 you can still update (see the thread for updating on 2.0.0)

Some places/people even refer the update as v2.0 (like the acekard team)
