Hacking Help on the cyclods!! PLEASE!!!

Why wouldn't it be the same as getting the others? And one more question about the roms, when I try to get some snes games, it says that they are ESA protected. Is there any other way to get them?

NDS slot works very differently from GBA games. It's hard to explain anyway. GBA will never work on NDS slot UNLESS you get a slot 2 (GBA slot) device.

You need to download different emulators for NES and GBC games. Again, they works differently. Anyone who made all in one emulator would be a millionaire by now.

I haven't got across a problem with ESA protected myself so I'm stumped.

After that I wouldn't tell you what to do to use the cheats, I have an R4DS, not a cyclo.

As for having problems with unrarring, or unzipping hmm. something you said about an error message leads me to believe that you had a multiple archive, or whatever whatever. Which means, say I download a movie, and instead of the DARK KNIGHT.avi file I get a bunch of rars instead. or zipped up files. In that case, you have to find the one that says 00 or 01, being the first. all these files have to be in the same folder, and you have to extract from the first file. so right click on the zipped up file with 00 or 01, and choose extract here. You shouldn't have problems after that unless the file needs a password, or is corrupt. for the cyclo and roms, well after you reformat again, and re-install the latest cyclo firmware, once you have roms, all you need to do is put the pokemon.nds file on the sd card, and nothing else. or whatever rom you want to play. And as far as your sd card always needing to be reformatted, hmmm. You may very well have a bad card reader, i suggest you buy a new one from say...newegg.com or, a diferent sd card, like a kingston or sandisk. also, it could be just that after you insert your card reader with inserted sd card into usb, and put roms on your card, you just pull it out when done. that's a nono. At the bottom right of your computer screen on the task bar, point your mouse on the usb icon representing your card reader, notice I didn't say click, I said point. Once your mouse is over that icon, you'll notice a pop up will say "Safely Remove Hardware" Now double click that icon to open it up. Once it opens, choose the drive letter corresponding to your card reader, and click on Stop. It'll say its now safe to remove, click OK, then click close. NOW you can pull your card reader out. This is on a Vista PC mind you, but I'm guessing it works similiar to XP. hope this helps some.

Open it, take out the file user.evoCheats, put that file in your CycloDS folder, not the root folder of your MicroSD.

7 Pages because this person is a complete newb with computers.
To enable RTS, you must hold Select while loading up a game. This may seem annoying but it is to prevent you from wasting too much space on your MicroSD.

Oh and make sure Real Time Save is enabled in the Settings menu of your Cyclo, though it should be on by default.
