Oh, when you are done putting the update.evo on your root, press A on your DS when you power up and select CycloDS. It will update, just don't switch off the DS or it'll cause more problems.
 
If you have formatted your microSD and updated your firmware to 1.4 then it shouldn't happen again.

Remember to extract roms until you get a file with .nds at the end of the file name. Then add the file to the roots like you did with update.evo.

Then start up to see if it works.

Right now I'm downloading Trauma Center: Under the Knife and Kenshui Tendo Dokuta (known as Lifesigns: Surgical Unit in english). Maybe you can tell, I love anime! Do you play smash bros.? I'm pretty good at brawl myself...

Trauma Center is good! Have you tried Phoenix Wright series? Love that games.

I'm playing Final Fantasy Tactics A2. I'm so bad at that game but I love it lol!

I've got a 8GB. It's already full.

Not to brag, but on Brawl I have 495 out of 545 trophies, 632 out of 700 stickers, all 35 characters, and I've beaten the storyline.

Have you played Earthbound or any of the Mother series? I have the rom for my computer
with the zsnes emulator, so I've played it. Have you heard about the new trauma center? It's gonna be out July first, and I can't wait! It's supposed to be really good. Have you beaten Under the Knife or Second Opinion? (I almost spoiled a characters name!)

I haven't tried Earthbound or Mother series but I'm trying Secret of Mana on my SNES emulator on my DS.

Will teach you when you master the NDS part.

I just got a Wii and haven't been playing it a lot so I only have Zelda: Twilight and Wii Fit.

Sounds like your MicroSD card is getting corrupted quite often. What card reader do you use. Do you "safe remove" your card every time you eject it from the PC?
