so i updated my acekard 2i to the latest ver 1.8.8 and then when i put it back on my dsi the icon did not appear on the menu,why is tat

Hmm did you try to take it out, put it back in? Sometimes my DSi is picky about reading the cart. Umm did you maybe forget to replace the akmenu.nds or something in the _aio folder? Try to add the folders and akmenu.nds again. If it does work, note that 1.8.8 still says 1.8.7 in the Adv.Evor skin

This problem you mean has nothing to do with the acekart, just with the microsd.
