Hi guys, i did do a search on the site but nothing was shown for the same issue..

I recently had my sd card fail on my n3ds long story short i managed to do a data recovery and then sandisk replaced the sd card under warranty.
I recieved the sd card and moved everything over to the new card but now i have lost all the CFW on the 3ds.
It's also showing up as the latest firmware due to the fact of being updated once in CFW.

if i remember i used the boot9strap hack,
Although i cannot get into homebrew or any other parts of the CFW i still have access to Luma? i selected to show NAND as normal when setting up the hack but still no way to access homebrew to set up FBI etc.

Any ideas??

You haven't lost CFW, Luma is the CFW.
You'll just have to follow https://3ds.hacks.guide/finalizing-setup.html again.
Seems like either the recovered data is corrupted so the 3DS can't read it, or you had an emuNAND before that all your games and saves were on. The emuNAND likely can't be recovered since it was encrypted and wouldn't be recognized as a partition by any data recovery tool, you could try to make a full image of the card with some recovery tool and getting the emuNAND partition out of it, but it might be corrupted.

Anyway it's unlikely that you would have emuNAND if your console was hacked recently enough to have B9S, unless it was hacked long before that using a pre-A9LH method. More likely the data is corrupted, but you may be able to retrieve the saves (or at least part of them) with a save manager like Checkpoint even if that's the case.
If the games were downloaded through Freeshop, Villain3DS, CIAngel or any similar tool that uses title keys, tikShop can reinstall those tickets if they are missing, which could help you recover saves that won't show up.
