First off, I've tried searching through both this forum and various tutorials (both visual and text based), but I have yet to find any solution to my rather frustrating problem.
Long story short, I have a 5.3.2 Wii U that absolutely refuses to boot into either the Homebrew Launcher or Loadiine GX2. I've tried various files (including the latest GX2 Nightly and HBL 1.2 RC3), along with various hosting sites (loadiine.ovh, wiiubrew.net, wiiubru.com, etc) to no avail. Every single time I am either met by the browser simply freezing or a black screen that has a few small white rectangles scattered about it. This has gone on for a good 30+ attempts, and I'm at wit's end trying to make this work.
I clearly have to be doing something wrong, but I just can't figure it out. For reference's sake, My SD card is formatted to FAT32 too. Again, I apologize for bugging everyone with what is probably a very simple issue to fix, but this is driving me nuts.
EDIT: Problem solved. As pointed out in this thread, updating did the trick (to firmware 5.5.1). I have no idea why this happened, but updating it instantly sorted the problem out.
