When I put my only ps3 game, 2.5 final mix, the game does not show up. I try loading the disk through multiman, but i just get a black screen and the ps3 gets really loud. Any fixes?

Have you tried using different games? If it's affecting multiple games you should probably try and replace your Blu Ray Drive. If it is only happening to that game, try backing it up to the PS3 and playing the back up.

Do you have any dust in the fans running? I had a similar issue like this with a older model PS3. I had to get a can of compressed air, and spray it out so it can breath.
The most common side effect of this hardware is lack of performance. But I also had moments where the game would crash completely, or not boot up once launched.

Either its a problem with the Disc Drive, fans, or disc.

I have finally gotten it working. I got a new drive, found it was incompatible with my board, and downgraded, put in fsm, and remarried.
