Disabling the exception handler doesn't stop crashing, it just stops showing the detailed crash reportIf you can get to the Luma3ds configuration menu disable Arm11 exception Handler, if not you have to figure what files on your SD is causing it, by looking at the current process line Process ID to figure out what file.
I don't know why people always suggest this in every single thread about this screen, the only thing it's going to do is make a normal error screen show up instead. If you can get to the Luma3ds configuration menu disable Arm11 exception Handler, if not you have to figure what files on your SD is causing it, by looking at the current process line Process ID to figure out what file.
Using the (x) Disable ARM11 exception handlers does not fix the underlying cause of the crash but rather ignores the problem and lets it get worse. After seeing enough troubles from others using it, I don't recommend this option unless your mod plugin requires it. One of the worst cases I've seen were users having all their HOME Menu icons disappear requiring reinstalling their collection. Another time I recalled someone having to resort to either CTRTransfer or restoring their SysNAND.I don't know why people always suggest this in every single thread about this screen, the only thing it's going to do is make a normal error screen show up instead.
