1. Open EmuNAND9 (This can sometimes take a few tries)
2. Go to EmuNAND Manager Options, then backup SysNAND to sysNAND.bin
3. Press Select on the main menu to eject your SD card

With step 2 you use left and right d-pad to select the name of the file. Pick sysNAND.bin, then continue the tutorial. It was a little hard to understand what you had problems with.
