So, yeah, I just want to make sure that I'm not doing anything stupid, and risk bricking my ps3 without even a month of use. [Just because I don't want to spend the money I'm saving on a new one, instead of saving enought for the PSvita on launch date]
Here's what I have:
american ps3 160gb on CFW 3.50 CECH 2501A [theorically brand new, was in stock]
KMEAW patched cfw pup installer [or whatever it's called]
lv2.pkg [came with KMEAW CFW]
OFW update for 3.55 [just to be sure that I have it if I need it]
Multiman 02.09.02 pkg file [got it some weeks ago... doesn't matter]
MultiMan disc boot rar [not sure why I got that one, can't remember now]
As of now, the KMEAW Custom firmware update is in the folder for instalation [root>PS3>UPDATE>]. Should I just plug the usb drive [already a Fat32 formatted HD] in the ps3 and ask for the update?
edit: What about that "PS3ITA CFW 1.1"? is it any good?
