Emulation Help in Pokemon HG/SS

Hey guys..I'm currently using NO$GBA to play HG/SS, and I keep getting a black screen after oaks speech...
I've tried using patches and everything, but it keeps giving me the black screen.
My friend said that over here on GBATemp somebody posted some AR codes in order to get passed it, so anybody have those AR codes or patch that will work? Thanks!

Ummmm.... I have no experience using No$GBA but i have seen the codes floating around the site. I dont mean to be rude, but you PROBABLY should have looked around before making this post, i KNOW its out there. Sorry i cant ACTUALLY help on the matter, but if you cant find them, Ill look around and see what i can do

I have the patch and AR code on my Acekard 2i. Even I get the black screen sometimes. If you can't even start playing the game, try getting aa new rom and patching it again

I play this on my R4i Gold and I've never had a black screen or a freeze.
