ROM Hack [Help] How do I downgrade Browser to use Spider QR codes?

I'm using an O3DS with 9.20(U) firmware and a 10.5.0 EMUNAND and want to use Action Replay Codes via QR Codes. However, upon scanning and opening the browser, the system stays on a black screen.

I've been told by various sources that I need to 'downgrade' my browser in order to use QR cheat codes.I just don't know how, and I have not been able to find a user friendly guide - or any guide at all for that matter - on how to do so.

One person suggested I download 'SpiderBrowser' .cia file with my region number on it, which I did, and install it. The problem is that the file could not be read or installed using FBI, or Big Blue Menu, so I am at a dead end.

Anybody know how I can get QR codes running on a 10.5 EMUNAND O3DS? If it helps, I'm also running NTR 3.3.

You need to get the spider browser cia from that iso site. Then in emunand, just use devemenu or fbi to install.

The person I was following the first time linked me to a MEGA archive with all the things in there.
The file I got there just wouldn't install for some reason.

After doing a quick search, I was led to the same Archive as I was previously. I downloaded the same US version and tried again with the same results; an error.

What are you using to install? Are you using rxtools?

You can install things through RXtools? before I get myself confused I'll say this:

I use RX tools to launch into Emunand mode, and from there I go to "Health and Safety"/FBI to install my .cia files.

I'd honestly rather just have a cheat.plg with everything I want on it, but apparently you need to do magic in order to make one.
If making a .plg was as easy as copying and pasting the code and than converting it into a file to work with NTR I'd do it.
But right now i'm doing the path of least resistance. I'm trying to get Fire Emblem Fates [USA] codes to work, but the codes either exist in Gateway - which I don't know anything about -
and Spider, which I at least know a little about. No.plg for them yet though.

Okay. Just installed DevMenu and imported the downgrade file. It seems to have worked since it said 'importing'. But... what exactly did it do? I was expecting a new app to pop up unless it just downgraded the internet browser itself.

Hold on. Decided to launch FE Fates SE without running NTR this time, and scanned the mode. Opened up the browser and its trying to load the page.
Though I'm not sure if I exit out of the browser or let it sit there until it's supposed to close itself.

Yeah it should have worked. Can you go into your browser, go to settings and scroll all the way down and tell me your version?

Having trouble finding codes for games I have on here. . . I could try some of the Jap Fates codes, I guess, But I'd have to not use NTR.

What happens after the browser comes up once I scan a code? What is supposed to happen and what am I supposed to do?

I don't actually know if it's working or not. I stopped booting NTR before I play games, and I can seem to go back to home menu now, but I don't think the codes are working.
Do you have any codes for bravely default US or Fates JP or Devil Survivor 2 US that you assuredly know work?

Are there any files I need to have this work either?
One of the people I had spoken to had given me a arcode.bin file to put in my SD root, which I did. Was there anything else?
I noticed that you never mentioned that file, and am wondering if it was even needed.

I guess I'll just wait out the cheat.plg for Fates [US] then. Will keep tinkering around with this and hope it works. Though I still don't know how I could confirm if it worked correctly.
