Hacking Question Help From 6.2.0 to Latest

Hello, I am new on gbatemp.
I have a question. I am currently on 6.2.0 ReinX on banned switch which is thankfully unpatched. I find tedious to update with Chou, and don't plan to revert back to 6.2.0 (since I can play latest games on latest CFW)
So, if I update to 8.1.0 OFW normally (I can do it and don't know why Nintendo is even allowing though I am banned), what CFW should I use that is currently stable? (I won't use SXOS as I am banned.)
And, I have backed up my 6.2.0 nand in case if something goes wrong.
I am using ns-atmosphere dongle, no autoRCM

ChoiDujourNX is very easy to use, and it's the recommended way to update on a NAND that isn't clean.

Atmosphere and ReiNX both work on 8.1.0. I personally prefer Atmosphere, and it's updated more frequently.

You can still update your switch becuase you're banned from using their online services, not cdn banned(super ban?).

As far as which cfw, the big three are all stable on 8.1, (Atmosphere, sxox, reiNX). It comes down to prefrence, use all 3 and see which fit your needs the best.

I safetly updated to 8.1.0, downloaded the latest files from ns-atmosphere website. Booted from hekate as per their instructions but now I can't boot to atmosphere CFW. I extracted zip and copied files on SD exfat but now am stuck on atmosphere logo. What did I do wrong? Any help is appreciated.

Did you update using ChoiDujourNX? If so, did you install the exFAT version of the 8.1.0 update?

I didn't used Choi. I updated from Nintendo's server.

1. Remove Atmosphere from your SD card.
2. Download the latest Atmosphere and put it onto your SD card.
3. Download the latest fusee-primary (next to Atmosphere).
4. Download these signature patches and put them onto your SD card: https://gbatemp.net/threads/i-heard-that-you-guys-need-some-sweet-patches-for-atmosphere.521164/
5. Boot into Atmosphere using fusee-primary.

Thanks. I solved the problem.
I removed all the folders from SD except nintendo and extracted the latest zip file.
Now, its booting to CFW. The problem I think was the Custom Themes that I installed back on ReinX.
Now I am official 8.1.0 atmosphere.
Ns-atmosphere website files works no need of sigpatches. (It was already there).
I booted via hekate.
