Gaming Help for updating to GEN from M33

Just curious if all i have to do is download the Update itself, or if theres anything else. Also, can you downgrade from that new GEN (B2 or whatever) directly back to M33 without a MMS or Pandora Battery? (Also, not sure if its allowed, sorry if its not, but where would i find the download for GEN)

2. I think you need pandora to downgrade or hellcats recovery flasher
3. Type in gen 5.50 CFW on google.

You do? Dangit >_>, i dont have access to a Pandora anymore, so i guess ill check out that Hellcat thing. Also, i thought i heard you could do it right from M33, since it could already run unsigned codes.

And wait, isnt that Hell Cat thing the one that messes with the Nand? I heard that if you screw that up, not even Sony can fix it.

1. You can go straight from m33 to Gen but I'm not sure about going backwards.
Hell cat when done right can revert the CFW for you.

Err, i also heard TA-088v3's cant be Updated or they brick, i have a Slim (Darth Vader Edition) that was already pandora'ized to M33, so would that mean i have a v2?
Also, sorry for the noobish questions, but would it be better to go straight to GEN A, then use Network update to go to B, and then B2? Or should i just download B2 and go straight to that

All you have to do is quick install by downloading a gen 5.50 A FILE under your psp game folder as update.

i'm trying to upgrade too, does the m33 to GEN B2 work? It's a hassle to update to GEN A, B, then B2 XD

It worked! *Dances*, lol i was worried for a second when it went straight from startup to the "Sony" screen, only to realize it auto started a UMD. So far, its working with my UMD, and Motorstorm.

updating from 5.00m33 to 5.50genb2 works without anything in the middle (read my other thread on these psp forums...something with the thread name...i think GENX).

I just can't get the magic memory stick portion working, but updating from m33 works fine, just need 5.50 eboot for an OFFICIAL FIRMWARE and put the GENB stuff into PSP/GAME/UPDATE/ and then update. everything else is easy to understand
