HELP for custom bootup/ startup animation and sound

So its been 3 yrs since i had my 1st cfw switch. I had a custom bootup animation and sound when opening my switch (cfw). It has the BOTW where link goes out in the shrine of ressurection.

I sold the unit last yr and just got my 2nd unpatch switch now.

The custom sound is from BootSoundNX.

I don't remember how to do it nor could not find the video tutorial. Can someone help me how to have a custom animation for bootup/start up

the custom boot sound isn't supported on the new firmwares because BootSoundNX has been not updated since 2019.

For custom bootup animation I never heard about it.

you can put custom boot logos on different parts of the boot:

• If you have a M0 chip inside the switch his splash can be customized.
• Argon splash, can be changed using argon files (if you use argonNX)
• Hekate Splash, configure it on Hekate_ipl.ini (if you use Hekate)
• Atmosphère splash, you need to run the insert_splash_screen.py script.
• Atmosphère boot logo, you need to build atmosphère from source: https://gbatemp.net/threads/building-atmosphere-on-windows-using-msys2.613446/#post-9847203 (thanks to @binkinator)
• Change Switch BootLogo, you could follow the steps on https://gbatemp.net/threads/custom-boot-logo-for-switch.569031/ I personally use https://github.com/friedkeenan/switch-logo-patcher script to generate new patches for my images.

Here in GBATemp there is a version of BootSoundNX updated. On downloads section @chronoss have some switch themes including a working version if BootSoundNX

P.D. you also can use https://github.com/StarDustCFW/Logo-para-switch.Palomitas/releases/tag/1.7 to create bootlogo patches. and if you follow the guide on https://gbatemp.net/threads/origina...witch-logo-patcher.613041/page-4#post-9846974 you can get the original nintendo boot logo to make smaller patches.

• bootsoundNX — @CompSciOrBust hacky build of a boot sound player (one shot!)
• bootsoundNX — take two!

(Just needed to be recompiled)
