What Firmware are you running? There is a file called "xmenu.dat" that you seem to be missing and we need to know your firmware version to get the right one.
You probably have version 1.45. Go to gbatemps download section and find the 1.45 upgrade file. Paste ONLY the xmenu.dat to your card. Then, report back.

I have a ds firling (8g) and it doing the same as some off the above post,it has v1.45 firmware on it but iv went to gbatemps and cant find a v1.45 firmware....would someone pls post me a direct link as this has been doing my head in 6hours....tks

My problem is a little different than the ones above. The menu file is opening but it does not seem to be reading any files, please help.

well i see problems that i answer daily on dslinker site

DATA IS NOT ALIGN 16K - well thats stupid from you to format any nrio flash type under windows , n-card and his clones cant be formated under windows , try reformating on ds it will help

Open xmenu.dat error! - well this error occurs when you do one of those two mistakes :
1.the xmenu.dat is older or newer than the firmware (there are lots of ppl formating the flash before updating the firmware and than they put the new xmenu.dat cause they thaught thay want need the old one)
2.some ppl think that if the flash cards are clones than the firmwares are probably tha same , yeah they are but only to some extent , but still you cant use a MK5 xmenu.dat on a dslinker with dslinker firmware(altough you can have a dslinker with MK5 firmware and xmenu.dat)

Steve are you uploading nds files not the packed rars??or are the files 0Mbit in size??either way you probably dont upload the games or you upload it from a NO WINDOWS PC. The games for any N-Card clone must be uploaded from a WINDOWS PC , no linux or MACS.

I have got a DS firecard and I have had games on it before following a guide someone made for us but unfortunately we lost the guide and I tried to change the games and when i plug the DS in (i have got the GBA card and the DS card and the USB lead) it comes up with all the games on as if they are already on but when i click on the menu on the card it says I have no games on it. Before it said Error:open xmenu dat. error! I downloaded that thing and now i can see the menu but the games are not there
