just need help guys, i updated to 9.0 to 9.2 sysnand using sysupdater in pastacfw with disabled firmlaunch...

what i did was i installed sysupdater0.4.2.cia on sysnand gateway mode.
i turned 3ds off...
reboot then loaded pastacfw in hbl with disable firmlaunch...
run sysupdater...
i saw it only installed 2 cia's, even though i downloaded the whole 9.2 update that i placed in the updates folder on root of sd...
it says it will going to boot in 10 sec, after reboot... it boots in black screen...

i tried to press any button, the only button that still functioning is the power button, when i hold it for a matter of seconds, it show the "power off screen" with a "home logo: return to home menu"
but after i press home button, it is stuck on the home menu text, then if i prees the power button again, it will bring me back on power off screen...

That shouldn't have bricked you. Try taking the sd card out and rebooting.

SysNAND with pasta*** Wow, sorry about that.

Anyway, I'll ask again: You don't use a mac, do you? Can you boot with the sd card out? Can you boot at all?

He should be fine even if he updated in GW mode. In this case he's updating from 9.0 to 9.2, where native_firm is not updated. Using GW is safe in this case

If he used a Mac, those dot files should've caused sysUpdater fail in getting cia info, which would in hence preventing him from installing updates in the first place.

True, but my other two questions still stand: Does the 3DS still boot with the SD card out?

whats wrong about runing pastacfw on sysnand?
There's nothing wrong with doing that.

It's not the operating system on your pc. Does your 3ds boot without a sd-card?
Did you try booting with SD out? Only CVer and homemenu got updated from 9.0 to 9.2. You can't brick your console even if you installed o3ds's packet on n3ds.

whaaaH!!!! i romoved sd and it booted!!! thanks guys... just want to ask why that happens?

My guess is that 9.0 to 9.2 updated the home menu, and created a conflict with homemenuhax.

You'll probably want to delete your homemenuhax payload from SD:/, then re-install homemenuhax through browserhax.

EDIT: Oh, yeah. Someone said that earlier in here.
