i see how its similar but do you see how its different the op in this case had a black icon (something improperly installed) on his nand

It should still help him get his apps back to fix it though.

assuming corruption was the box yes it will but most often its an app system app that cuases the black box issue (a system app as a result of a previous downgrade/ctr transfer)

actually i havent yet that use d9 thing instead of gm9 i think i did something wrong and im back to having a theme but no apps

start gmodmode9 by holding start it wouldnt open at all nothing except luma which while i had d9 in my sd card was 6.6 for some reason

i thought you meant you used you followed my advice (applied the ctrtransfer files) and the result was a downgrade in your luma version . . . so you were never actually able to boot d9?

(well thats a first . . .) i have never seen a 3ds that can boot all the way and cant use d9/gm9 and i think that proves its not just a simple corrupted game or dlc file but more likely the black box was indeed a system title

or . . . is it just that you have the wrong file .firm vs .bin one is for a9lh (luma 6.6 suggest al9h) and the other is for b9s

but before you begin look in your sd card for corruption and see if it can be fixed that way

i launched gm9 just fine after i took the d9 files out

i fixed it i went to E:\Nintendo 3DS\cb127701d3d510264b85f426c64f36a3\e99800e94707be94534530340002544d\title\00040000 and there where 2 files not in folders i deleted those and it worked

but what of your root problem . . . the freeshop error? that sparked the blackbox deletion and all this in the first place
