Hi all,

So I've read a bunch but still am not clear about this.

It seems like back in the day there was no way to run ps2 games from external.
But now it should be possible.... right?
I read something about the ps2 classics method. OPL, and also webman.

I'm currently on 4.8.2 Ferrox w cobra, and webman enabled.
I tried placing some of my oldschool ps2 and psp backups on a fat32 drive but webman did not see them.
Since the webman release says ntfs support I tried that, but no dice.

What am I doing wrong?
What is the file format for ps2 games? Only ISOs?
Folder structure?

Thankx

It's well documented that PS2 mode doesn't work from external (in great part because the PS2 emulators, all 4 variants including ps2_netemu = ps2 classics, are their own kernel and therefore can't run in parallel with any payload)

/dev_hdd0/PS2ISO/optional subfolder/filename.iso or .bin or .img + optional .config + optional .jpg cover art, max 200x200

K I will give up on that dream.

Is it possible to run psp games from external? Thanks.

Edit:
Ok got pspisos running on external. Man compatibility leaves much to be desired.
