Hacking HELP! 4.1u wii LU66 homebrew channel works but...

i messed up big time i need help to fix.

so it is a virgin lu66 wii with 3.4u installed(before doing this i did not know)

1. i booted the hackmii installer v3 using bannerbomb. installed HBC and dvdx.
2. used wad manager 1.3 to install IOS16-64-v257-prod.wad
3. i used wad manager ios16 to install cios_fix.wad
4.tryed installing cios 38 rev 14 as 249 and my wii remote would not connect.
5. upgraded to 4.1 (because thats what i had intended all along)
6. lost the ability to launch wad manager 1.3 or 1.5 also cios38 rev 14 installer disconnects wii remote and will not reconnect.


i did all of this not knowing the wii was lu64+

i need help.

stay away wii hacking guy, trust its for the best.

i have modded dozens of wiis. never ran into a lu64+ can you help me or are you going to make me look like a jackass? am i screwed?

just follow my guide for future lu64+ wii hacking.

and i dont believe someone who has modded dozens of wii's still rolls with "cios_fix.wad" and wad manager 1.3

those files and programs are outdated, what did you think would happen?

try following my guide and use a gamecube controller if you wiimote refuses to connect on some apps like trucha bug restorer

ok im stuck at installing custom ios 38 rev 14. again, bluetooth disconnects. i can still hear waninkokos music. but wiimotes will not connect. nor will gamecube controllers(not supported in that program correct?)


ok my problem is now solved your guide worked like a charm, i feel like an idiot for not looking at the serial number before i went ahead. i have bookmarked your guide and will use this method from now on.
