Homebrew hello i need some help, i think i bricked my 2ds

im unsure i did this one a while ago how do i find out if ive already have those 2?

currently i have a FBI on the home menu and i have the Freeshop app along with a bunch of other games i own.

I'm 99% sure you have an EmuNAND then. Wouldn't hurt for you to hunt around and know exactly what you got, look at some of the contents in SD card.

What folders do you have under "Nintendo 3DS"?

Have you checked if you can load hourglass or not? Maybe you can return to stock 9.2 and start over again.

The exact same thing happened to one of my own 2ds installations. I was still able to load decrypt9, hourglass, etc at bootime. Have you checked if you can load hourglass or not? Maybe you can return to stock 9.2 and start over again.

Yep I certain you have an EmuNAND with Menuhax, just stick to the guide and you will be fine

• If this still gives you an error, restore your NAND backup before updating

it gave me an error when trying to update... my DNS is on auto what does it mean "restore your NAND backup before updating"...

What firmware are you on 2.1? If so boot into hourglass9 and restore 9.2 NAND backup, then update via system settings.

ok i booted into hourglass9 and restored Sys 9.2.0 do i have to go back into Decrypt9 to get back into 2.1? THEN use system settings to update?

No you can system update now, the 9.2 was to allow you to do a system update.

On o3ds and 2ds the system requires an exploit to get the OTP to perform the A9LH installation. It's solely for the purpose of installing A9LH

You could boot hourglass9, once you can boot the payloads and restore NAND backups, then you have arm9 access.
