ok friday(last night) i bought Heavy Rain on the PS3....
and i didnt start it until like 8:30am saturday morning.
and i just got done with the game and i finally say all characters
ending but not every ending b/c the game has many endings
... this is what i expected from the makers of INDIGO PROPHECY...
but out of all my history of gaming i have never cried at such a great game
i shed tears at the ending b/c it was soo damn great
rolleyes.gif

i using a 50inch LED monitor to play the game and logic surrond sound speakers
for my LED tv and the graphics are just as massive but better than uncharteds pixels
but onward to my opinion i was pouring tears at the ending b/c it was that beautiful...
IF YOUR THINKING OF BUYING HEAVY RAIN... I HIGHLY RECCOMEND IT ITS WORTH A
BUY B/C Microsoft wont get their hands on this beautiful masterpiece if your hoping that
the 360 would get their hands on it...it would never happen.... but skip that
if you buy a PS3 make sure you get this game......
so plz buy or give it a rent....

( would die if HEAVY RAIN WAS MADE INTO A MOVIE)

So far all the reviews I've heard from friends of mine are positive.
It's good to see a game as risky as this get good reviews, hope the sales are also good.

Well the thing about Heavy Rain is that you pretty much make the story, you know. Endings are different depending on how you decided things personally. Even more so, because it gives you some really really tough choices during the game.

In the end, it's beyond amazing. But it's not for everyone of course.

Its truly amazing, i lucked out and got the perfect ending on my first try, and the revelations near the end made my jaw drop. (I mean like literally, i paused the game, sat there for like 5 minutes, then pondered for a bit.) Its amazing how ONE simple word from a character in a flashback changes the whole plot around, along with shifting who you believe is truly good and evil

Why, WHY does the pc always get left out on the great games! First Brutal Legend, then Bayonetta, and now THIS! I want this fucking game on PC!

You really want Bayonetta on the PC?
First off, not everyone has a joypad, it will be truly brutal to play with a mouse and keyboard.
Some games are best played on a console not a PC.

It sucks that I used up almost all my extra money on White Knight Chronicles, but oh well. It is a good game, but Heavy Rain seems a little cliche to me. I'm probably gonna have to pass it.

Brutal Legends didn't make it because it was terrible.
Bayonetta hasn't yet because it'd be terrible with mouse and keyboard. Keep in mind, DMC4 was only recently brought to PC...and it's been out for ages on 360.

Heavy Rain hasn't because it's a sony exclusive. Also remember that xbox360 and most PCs are tied to microsoft, so a sony exclusive wouldn't be too likely to go to just PC, because microsoft would get it on 360 as well (and sony would hate that).

PC isn't made for gaming.

a good PC power wise will always squash the nuts of it's little brother living room console. it's always been that way.

imo looks pretty, but heavy rain is boring as shit. more like a passtime than a game.

I bought this game the day it was released. Beat it by the next day. I couldn't put it down. I also had all of my characters survive. This game is really a great game for being an underdog. I would highly recommend it to anyone with a ps3.

Already started my second playthrough, but that's gone a bit slower then the first time. I also got the dlc code for the taxidermist addon since I preordered but haven't downloaded it yet.

i just got the game...

i just find this game is really different
haven't come across a game that you can shave for the character.. brush his teeth and etc!
this game is epic in the making

however, i think to play this game i do need to sit down there and take my own sweet time to play
enjoy the bits and the perspective of the game!
its really cool!

won't regret for getting the game

I won't spoil anything for you, but I will say this.

EVERY SINGLE CHOICE YOU MAKE DICTATES THE END OF THE GAME.

Even small, minuscule decisions wind up making a difference in the game.

Games like Fable and The Sands of Time series say this but more-or-less follow a linear path, this game does not. Take care in every choice you make. I believe infact, the choices you make dictate not only the end of the game, but who the killer is.

just a quick question..

any of you guys had some lagging issues on cut scene?
i had one when the wife and kids are back from the shopping..
another problem i had was
when MR tried to do his work.. the whole game just stop progressing (i can still toggle the camera)

My friend actually bought a PS3 just to get to play this game lol

Cant blame him though since I bought the original xbox to play halo2

I actually did the same. Had been putting off the purchase of PS3 for far too long time.
