Hello everyone,

i'm trying the whole day to replace the american opening in tales of symphonia 2 with the one from the japanese version, but i can't make it work =/
I already tried everything.
First, i replaced it with Trucha signer (extracted the op.thp from japanese iso via trucha -> opened the us-iso -> replaced the op.thp -> signed the partitions -> burned it on verbatim dvd-r with 2.4x speed).
Result: Wii-Disc-Channel shows "New Update" - So far so good, since i've a pal-wii, i have to start other-region games via gecko os, so i tried with my modified tos2-version. Launched GeckOS via HBC, pressed A - and...nothing. Screen freezes-
Burned it a second time - same result.

Then i tried the same replacemente-procedure with WiiScrubber 1.2 - same result. I'm really clueless right now and i'm really really begging you for help...i want that damn japanese opening =(

oh yes my wii is running on wiikey with the latest update and wii-firmware v3.3e, but since i'm using gecko os this shouldn't matter, should it?

I don't have much experience with this...but I'd consider burning at a faster speed.

I have to use at least 8x on my games or else it'll be a very iffy burn. :/

Are you able to use any Trucha signed discs? I thought all 3.3 updates are a bad idea if you plan this.

and i thought, as long as you use gecko os and hbc it doesn't matter, cause gecko can still play trucha discs =/
