CTRNAND (SD-less) booting is officially supported in the latest releases of A9LH and Luma3DS these days. Just make sure you're up to date on both, and copy arm9loaderhax.bin from the root of the SD to the root of CTRNAND with FBI and you're all set.

Held off on doing anything for almost a week, but now I'm up-to-date with A9LH and Luma3DS. Thanks.
