Hacking HDD questions

I'm getting a Seagate Freeagent 320GB HDD soon and wondered if these are any good to use with the wii;
-Is there any hardware issues?
-FAT32 or NTFS?

I'm using WBFS on my current HDD so would I be able to do a drive-to-drive transfer and have it convert all games as necessary?

This external hard drive is very good, I just love it.

It works well with my wii on WBFS.

One more question...Could I install WiiWare/VC games to the HDD or even load them without installation?

Fat32 over ntfs because installing games from disc onto hard drive doesn't work fully yet for ntfs but is perfect with fat32

Use triiforce to play wiiware and vc games from your hard drive.
Look for the thread on triiforce on how to set it all up

Thanks mate, what about WBFS to FAT32 transfer? or is it a case of transfering it from one HDD to PC then to the other HDD? I guess it could be possible but I'm not sure with different drive formats...

WBFS has a clone option, not sure if it will go to a FAT32 drive. Never tried it.

If I don't find out by the time I get my new HDD I'll make a post with my findings with WBFS Manager and Wii Backup Manager.

Use wiibackup manager and it will clone drives for you.
It will go from wbfs to fat32 or ntfs or vice versa either way.
I've used it to do wbfs format to fat32 format and all the games work fine
