Homebrew HBL issues with 03DS, red screen on exits?

Hi

I just showed a friend of mine the world of homebrew on his O3DS XL and his jaw dropped. I installed soundhax on his and downloaded the current version of HBL which is 2.2 I believe. There seems to be an issue where you can't exit cleanly from an emulator or program. The screen just goes all red and you have to reboot the 3DS. I don't have this problem on my O3DS because I still have the old version of HBL. Is there a fix for this?

Depends on the Homebrews you are using. Most of them were written with the older lib that's no longer used or even read in newer applications. What I'm saying is, the apps may be too outdated to play nice with the newer versions of HomeBrew. Homebrew apps are technically outdated at this point in CFW. There is almost no reason to have stand alone Homebrew vs CFW.
