Hacking HBC on 3.1E

Has anyone installed the Homebrew Channel on a 3.1 Wii, then updated to 3.2 and still had everything working ok?

I were finally going to get around to installing it on my 3.1E Wii, but I'm wondering if I should update it to 3.2E first, either by seeing if SSBB Eur has 3.2E on the disc when it's released this Friday or by trying the Semi-brick fix disc (I'm guessing it just updates like a regular game disc which just happens to fix a semi brick?)

HBC then the update probably works fine, just thought I should check first.

HBC works great on a 3.2 wii. Just don't update to 3.3 by mistake if you use the internet.

I know it works on 3.2, and to avoid 3.3.

I've just installed it on 3.1E anyway, so I'll see what happens if SSBB has 3.2 on the disc
