Hacking HBC HELP PLEASE!!!!!

so...... iv been using wiiflow for GC/Wii backups on my Wii U vWii for quite awhile now.
currently i am running a cold boot haxchi setup.
last night i tried to install the wiiflow mastermod pack. i was looking everywhere for a tutorial on how to do it correctly for just the vWii. but all the tutorials i found were for both Wii and vWii.
somewhere along the lines i guess i messed up my ios58 installing Wii ios on a vWii.
i hacked my vWii using wuphax. now anytime i launch my vWii (by the channel and hbl2hbc) i get a solid black screen. i get the black screen wi the white "wii" then it goes away and nothing else happens.
i can however get to the dash on my vWii by using HBL to wuphax. but then if i launch HBC same black screen. also if i use the mii channel after running wuphax to install HBC again, it comes to the scam screen and freezes. just doesnt tell me to hit the button to continue.


what are my options here? somebody please tell me there is a cure for this. PLEASE!

Do you have IOS backup? Any kind backup of vWii side? If you do, you can try with ftpiiu-everywhere. If not u r screwed.

Your wads r probably located in the YABDM/WAD folder on the root of ur sd card. I don't know if the tutorials have changed though, but that's where mine are located.

No, ftpiiu everywhere is ran from the wiiu side.

yes, they're the wads that u backup one at a time. btw, ios 58, do u have it? it's in my list under: IOS58 v6432.wad . I believe u can download it with NUS if u don't. as far as restoring it, I'm not sure how to do that since I've never done it before. the files on the virtual wii will not be in wad format, but u can use a wad to restore them.

The reason you bricked is because you installed quadforce it is not compatible with vWii it even tells you this in the quadforce guide that it will brick vwii . see the faqs section https://gbatemp.net/threads/quadforce-a-guide-to-playing-triforce-arcade-games-on-a-wii.347411/

From the pic you uploaded it looks like you have a backup of your nand i can see the keys.bin in the pic if you backed up your nand before installing all those wii ios you need to extract your nand with showmiiwads and pull out your IOS58 v6432.wad and use wupclient or ftpiiu everywhere to reinstall it. then you will need to delete all those wii ios you installed.

From the pic you uploaded it looks like you have a backup of your nand i can see the keys.bin in the pic if you backed up your nand before installing all those wii ios you need to extract your nand with showmiiwads and pull out your IOS58 v6432.wad and use wupclient or ftpiiu everywhere to reinstall it. then you will need to delete all those wii ios you installed.

The two quadforce wads are what has caused the brick he has to remove them first using ftpiiu everywhere before reinstalling the backup otherwise the quadforce wads will still be on the system and they will just brick it again the first time he loads vwii

from this image i installed BCall the cios's diosmioslite and RVL. im not 100% about the ios58 but probably that too. and i installed all 4 of them in the second pic

everything in the big list came with the masterpiece pack for wiiflow

For a start dios mios and RFL are for wii only they are not vWii compatible see here https://sites.google.com/site/wiiflowiki4/dios-mios-setup give me time to check the rest you installed as pretty sure there are more there that bricks wiiu

I personally use usb loader gx. there r a few wads to install to get it working properly, but not nearly that many. it looks like the backup wads u have r from the install. I wasn't aware that restoring the virtual wii was as simple as using showmiiwads/NAND. it would make things easier. the wads themselves will appear as .app files on the virtual wii, so knowing what goes to what is beyond my understanding of how the system works. I did replace ios80 (the system menu) with one from a theme. that's the only thing I've touched beyond normal hacking. it's listed as an .app with an alphanumeric name. as long as it's for the virtual wii, u should be safe. I've heard of some forwarders bricking systems as well when the forwarder was for the real wii instead of the virtual one.

i have always been a CFG fan personally. i was switching to wiiflow just for this pack specifically for everything it does. it really is a giant leap forward as far loaders go imo

Put the keys.bin and nand.bin in the same folder and load the nand.bin into showmiiwads EDIT= I forgot that showmiiwads will fakesign any wad you extract and if you install a fakesigned ios your wii u will fail to update and the homebrew channel will fail to install so maybe you will need to find another way to extract your ios58.

should i be using showmiinand? there isnt anything showing up in the window. when i google how to use it it says about adding wads
