Hello there! I am currently encountering an issue in installing v10 beta52 d2x-v10-beta52 on a Wii. I was able to install it fine via my main Wii, and upon using the same SD card on my friend's Wii as I don't have another, cIOS doesn't go higher than d2x v6, despite the v10 folder existing under cIOS installer. Is there something I did wrong? In both cases I flashed hombrew via str2hax.

Maybe the cIOS Installer is old/outdated.
Did you use this Guide and that d2x cIOS Installer please ?
