Hacking Question Have i put my switch into RCM correctly

Hi guys
I got a bag of paperclips and i think i made a right jig
I slided it in the right joycon rail amd when i press power and vol + nothing happens no black screen. the nintendo logo does not appear and when i connect it to a pc it does not display the green charging icon
In device manager i see a yellow triangle and an apx device
Does this mean that it enterrd rcm and i need to install the drivers?
