I think he will find if he got to the last .cia file without an install and it errored and shut down I'm betting it is bricked or too late!. I hope its not but all those o3ds files being installed on an n3ds apart from the very last one he would be very jammy if he can correct it now. Bit of flop there m8ty but I'm sure your not the only one this has happened too! :)

Edit: when I did mine a few days ago I doubled and tripled checked to make sure mine was all correct before I hit Y. I even downloaded two sources of the 9.2x downgrade files to see any difference in the two, just to make sure of my position and they wen't fake or something odd going on.

Right now, since I can still boot games I'm thinking of updating to 10.3 using a game having 10.3 then using BrowserHax from there
But is there an entry point without having to buy a game?

Hm, then the only thing I can think of is to use oothax if there's no other exploit available. Just use the new nintendo selects version (~$20usd) and get a powersaves from datel. (~$20usd)

I used oothax and downgraded to 9.2. Everything went fine this 2nd time

As you might be aware I first made the mistake of using o3DS cias instead of n3DS cias to downgrade. Thankfully it only resulted in a softbrick :)
Afterwards I used downgrade_check to check, it identifies it as a 9.2 EUR n3DS and I had 3 'Extra' cias and 3 'Different Version' cias
I deleted the extra cias and replaced the other cias with the correct versions
Then I set up 10.7 emunand and all the homebrew stuff.

The system is working all fine and so except for one thing that's bugging me..
When playing Super Smash online, I lag terribly, I barely manage to find and connect to other players. Sometimes I get kicked out of the game with a communication error. Very few times I had smooth games.

Researching online, I found out that this happens to many people and some solution that worked for many was using their router to open ports and to set the 3DS to DMZ.
Since I'm away from home for quite some time, I don't really have access to the router, so I can't do this.
I may be paranoid but I just want to make sure I didn't mess up some wifi functionality of my 3DS with the mess I've done. As far as I know, I installed wrong cia files, but then I installed the correct cia files. So everything should be reversed right?

ur lucky with using the wrong cia files. I hard bricked my o3ds by doing that by accident. I had to hard mod the system with a backup I had made a long, long time ago to fix it. I was actually upgrading since my system was on 6 something.
