Don't know if this is the right place to post this...

I'm not really someone who's using phones that much. I have an old Windows Phone which I got from a friend and never bothered to buy a new one (nor do I intend to). In general I only use it to stay in touch with my friends via Whatsapp. But since the support will be shut down in December I wonder if there will be workarounds I could use on my Windows Phone. I know I could use Whatsapp on my 10' Android tablet, but that is not really "portable" and convenient. I really don't want to loose the Whatsapp communication method, but I also don't intend to buy a new device just for that.

Or can I install Android on my Windows Phone somehow? Or perhaps an Android emulator on top?

I'm grasping at any straw which could help me out off this dillemma.
