yes there was a hack a long time ago when we used to run Invision Power Boards.
Following that, we switched to Xenforo, no hack since.
A couple of years back there was some kind of scare after someone hijacked accounts on the forums here. But it turns out it all stemmed from the database leak of another site (a ROM site), some people had accounts on both places and were using the same password, so their accounts got compromised.
