Homebrew HANS - CPP/C-Stick not working

I have an n3DS and my c-stick doesn't work when I boot Monster Hunter 3U off HANS. Anyone experiencing this problem?

    If your throat closes, putting oxygen in your mouth will not solve anything - as you will be introducing oxygen prior to the area of obstruction
