I watched it... although a bit boring at first, it quickly becomes awesome (even though I don't like halo and metroid)
great piece of work... really great.

This is a great piece of work. It looks great, and the fights are awesome. Overkill from start till finish. Over the top all the way. The disbelief over the absurdly overstated feats is overshadowed by the sheer asskickery.

I can't wait for the sequel.

Haloid was stellar. Too bad I haven't seen a version yet that didn't suffer from compression fragments that made a lot of the action seem muddy.

And also, the frequent nods to the Matrix were pretty well done as well.

I loved the gun-kata part, where Master Chief's alternatedly shooting people and hitting them with the (same) rifle. And then stabbing a guy with the rifle, barrel going straight through, to shoot another guy.

Overkill much?

Saw this yesterday after Penny-Arcade posted it. Pretty awesome.

Mostly. If you read his post below the video, he used models from Halo for PC and extracted Samus (armor/suit form) from SSMB, saying he wasn't able to get it from Metroid Prime. But all the animation and extras and such was done by himself.

Yeah, I've watched it about 5 times already

really good work, kinda disappointing he couldn't grab Samus from either metroid prime games, but SSBM's Samus gets the job done.
also, glad to see Samus kinda kicked TMC's ass, very cool to see the speed booster, grapple beam etc (no screw attack

Yes, I too would love to see Samus performing a screw attack on the Master Chief.

Is Halo 3 going to be the last one in the series? Because now that I've seen this video, and thinking back as to how they haven't revealed whose in the suit yet...I can totally see them trying to pull off another Metroid ending.
