Thanks for the help. Got Atari 2600 to work now. I'm trying to run a CPS1 1941 rom and did the necessary command lines. It's still rebooting to main snes menu. Am I missing something? I am not understanding what files when u stated earlier that I need a bios file for it.

You using MAME 2003, and /bin/mame2003 after adding it as an archive?

MAME 2003 should play it fine.

May sound dumb but how do I install mame2003 to snes? I went to your hmod link and DL the mame2003_libreto.so file. What do I do, just drag it into hakchi like a rom and upload to snes or do I put it in the mods/hmods folder within hakchi directory?

You are using the wrong link. Use this one...I just cleaned it up to make it better. But, copy it into user mods folder, and install like normal:)

can someone tell me the performance of this snes emulation box? are the games running full speed, even the sfx games like yoshis island? I know wii couldnt handle full speed emulation in retroarch.

If you are talking snesc, the slowdown issues from the real games are still apparently so on the snesc. But, we have ability to throw in a command line to overclock them, if need be:) But Super Ghouls N Ghosts, still lags, Yoshi's runs better than it did on SNES9X, at least. And, Secret Of Mana triggers better graphics, HD!

press start+select and it enters retroarch menu to configure buttons, reset machine with select+down.

OH MY GOD METAL SLUG WORKS!!!!

Just install MAME2010 core and mame bios hmod, set path to /bin/mame2010 and enjoy!

With mame2010 core you can play some pretty kick ass games like raiden fighters 2, quite amazing really what this little machine can handle.

im not talking about slowdown issues, talking about performance bottleneck. Im curious if I should just buy a real console to get optimal performance, or if this will do it 100%.

Real console is the real deal. What more is there to say? But do you have a tube tv? Good luck if you want to play on a modern HD tv with a real console. The video quality will be sh*t unless you have the framemeister.

I started on 2.0.20.14 and have since upgraded to 2.0.21.42. I've added ~60 standard roms and ~20 translation/fan roms. Only ones that have never werked is SMW2+ by Golden Yoshi and 2+2. I tried left alone, and results in BSOD, retroarch command = C7 error. Wut is needed to run them?
ANYONE?
