Still there is menu and text problem with all available roms of Captain America and Avengers but game is playable. I don't demand anything just mentioning so some good soul find some time and make some of this ips patches.

Is there a reason that you are playing without RetroArch ?
Because all of these games are working !

You're right, it's quite difficult to buy them together. Purchase them separately. Rgs.

Asked on /r/nesclassicmods, figured I'd try here as well - if anyone with a Famicom mini still has their original kernel dump, I wouldn't mind taking a look at it.

No reason. So I only need retroarch mode installed. Tnx
And Nestopia. The only patches I use anymore are for translation and hacks :) I run these games through Nestopia and Captain America looks great on menus and text! Kid Dracula is fun too. After installing the games and retroarch.hmod, just add " --retroarch --nestopia" without quotes. See image below...

If you go into dip switches on mame 2003 you turn the blood option on.

Narc on mame2000 also runs amazing... You just need to restart the rom a second time via the retroarch menu once it's booted up and got past the initial rom checks.
how do you get into the dip switches ?

Still can't get Discs Of Tron to work. It doesn't like mame2003 or mame2000. I can always play it on my computer. At least I got TRON to work....though DOT is my favourite of the two.

I wish you could change command line arguments and add games without having to flash the entire kernel.....

Speaking of translation patches does anyone have the beta 4 patch for Fire Emblem 1 that was released a week ago? I tried joining the site Mega Koopa X posted it at but they're taking their time approving the account.

So, Kid Dracula and Getsu Fuma Den should work now? Because the translation patches changed their mappers, making them unplayable on Nestopia.

Cool. I need Lunar Lander and Battlezone to work. Like I've said, when I try to play them, the little black and white mame menu pops up. On the computer, I can get rid of it with the escape key. But I can't figure out how to do that on a controller.

I am pretty sure I already know how to bypass it. I just cant test it til tomorrow:(

Some of you have been following my methods of gaining space on the MINI. Anyways, here is how to gain another 50-100mb back on your Mini Setup. You can look at my name on Reddit, and see other topics I submitted to see other space gainer techniques. Enjoy!

I have the original and the wii classic

The Wii Classic controller is most optimal, since it has the extra buttons needed to access advanced cologne settings. Did you try the options I laid out? And, I still need a test example of a game that has text issues, so I can personally try it:)

Any idea of why the menu just pops up for no reason...and why is it only those two games ?

How do you shrink the picture in photoshop ? Just lower the size ? I don't have photoshop, myself,....I use GIMP.

Have you, by chance, tested these 2 games on MAME 2000? I actually think the games might be "broken" on MAME 2003, as once I bypass the TAB, the games cannot start. Star Wars Arcade does the same thing. They may just be "unsupported games" for MAME 2003. So, I would suggest trying MAME 2000, or Final Burn (if they are actually in the rom set). Oftentimes, diagnostics, test screens, etc..are easily skipped just by going to quick settings in retroarch, and restarting the game. The rom needs unpacked, persay, just like in a real arcade. It is a boot up sequence for games like Narc, etc. Other games, like Hard Drivin' require actual calibration, which is HARD to do without the real hardware! I play Hard Drivin' on GENESIS. But, I have previously gotten it to work on my PC. I have always loved that game! As of now, I got past that screen on Lunar Lander. But, the game cannot start, at least...from my preliminary test! I may do more testing, once I have time! But, for now, try MAME 2000, and, hopefully Final Burn Alpha, if it exists in that set!

I tried mame2003 at first. And it worked for 99.9% of the arcade games I want to play. All except for lunar lander and Battlezone. The other games I had a hard time getting to work was simply because I was using the wrong mame version rom sets. With mame2000, the games start, but then, as I've said, the mame menu pops up and I can't figure out how to get rid of it. Restarting the games works ?

9 out of 10 times, I have restarted games, even on the PC and ANDROID Mame, to bypass test screens, boot up sequences, etc. NARC was famous for this. First time you run it, you would have to let the boot sequence finish, restart game, then you were allowed to insert coins!

I actually have both battlezone and lunar lander on my Playstation 4, in the Atari Flashback Collections 1 and 2. These are phenomenal packages, and truly the best way to play them, haha. They are also on Xbox one. So, if you have either of those systems. They run spot on, for both! I love them! I am one of only 2 people to platinum Vol 1, haha. Lunar Lander reminded me of an early version of Hang Gliding like landing from Pilotwings, heh!
