@Cluster Is there a better command line setting for Metroid FDS and Doki Doki Panic ?
Metroid has very long loading times between elevators and Doki Doki Panic skips the intro

I found source code for gamepad driver on Nintendo site (yes, it's open source), also it uses SDL2. So I think it's possible to map reset on combination of buttons.

That's great, Cluster! The NES Mini operation would be easier with this function. We'll wait your efforts in that matter! ;-)

Wow. Every day you seem to post another big fix or announcement! That's amazing news. :)

Hi guys, Im new to this and have been at this for a few days now. Im trying to do this on a mac. I downloaded parallels and windows 10 and have been stuck at the "flash custom kernal stage" for a while now. I dont know much about windows and downloaded it just for this. Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

This would be incredible.

Edit: Also, any plans to implement the command line argument to the original 30 games? I'd love to kill the filter on those as well.

@Cluster Hi, Im new at this and wanted to ask a question about dumping the kernel. The first time I used Hakchi2 it was and older version and when I tried to upload some games it didnt work, I realized that the thing I did wrong was not dump the kernel and flash the custom kernel. Now I just tried the newest version of Hakchi2 and when I tried to dump the kernel it gave me the MD5 Check sum error. At that point I stopped because I was Unsure to proceed. Can some one help?

8bitdo did it right with select+down, use that combo if you get it working
how where they able to do it anyway do you know ?

Hi guys. I had an issue here. I tried to run some patched ROMs like Battletoads & Robocop 3, but all I got was a black screen... for all games. So I erased those ROMs, installed up to 80 games, and the system came back to life.

Any ideas what happened to me?

Thanks.

P.S.: Maybe save states and box art images have drained RAM? Patched ROMs could crash the system?

Wel got smb3 hack adventure on pg1 and pg0 with ips patcher, but got glitchy, any one else had the same problem ?
Other smb3 hacks (pg1 /pg0) are running fine... I took verified roms.

Found patching it for real hardware seems to make it work properly, I found the below patch and fixes the glitches for me.

I have an older computer with XP that I wanted to use to run this program as I was concerned about using my newer computer. Do think Cluster would know about XP compatibility?
Why not use your newer computer? It's a safe program, and fully open source. I just checked the source, and it does nothing suspicious, and scanned the built binaries, with no detection aside from heuristics on shitty AVs on virustotal

I get it (again): patched ROMs are fine, amount of memory is the problem.

Hi guys. Ive heard battletoads usa rom freaks out after 2nd stage. Did you guys make a patched working version? If so, how? I can only see a command line arguement mod to fix the blur epilepsy effect.

Also do any other games like castlevania 3 or ninja gaiden 2 freak out like battletoads and need modding?[/USER]

The Nyko Miniboss Wireless control has a power button that works as home / reset button for the savestates, buy it!! it's very cheap.

No, i don't know about dev. To solve Battletoads freeze issue, there are 2 way:
1. Use Battletoads JAPAN (my choice)
2. Use Battletoads USA and via save-states pass the second Stage.

About the anti seizure glitch it affects to all games, but some games doesn't notice you other are more visible. Only can be corrected at this moment by command line (if a hack exist I don't know)

Rgs.

Battletoads can be patched - Cluster indicates in FAQ section a link for Battletoads IPS file.
