what games do you enjoy the most on the mame2003 ? Im a shoot em up action kinda guy . Thanks for your response

I've tested games that have almost full screen and good sound quality and good game play.

I have these games installed and fit the above criteria;
Metal Slug 1
Street Fighter 1
Street Fighter 2
Vendetta
Shinobi
Wonder Boy
64th Street Detective
Hit the Ice
Golden Axe
Final Fight
Double Dragon
Double Dragon II
Toki
Final Blow
Mortal Kombat
Aliens
Ninja Gaiden
The Simpsons
WWF Wrestle Fest

Keep in mind mame games don't save. It creates a suspend point, but when you go to enter the suspend point in the GUI menu, it just restarts the game.

I know some people use MAME2003 to run Neo Geo games, does that mean Neo Geo games can't save either? What determines if you can save (core or ROM)?

I would like to be able to save my Neo Geo games if possible..

Hi, I have a question, can I use my Hakchi2 on several Mini NES ?
Because I've done the perfect settings and the perfect list game, and some friends wants me to Hack their NES MINI too.

So, I'm note sure If I can juste use it on Nes mini that are not yet hacked, because If I remember they need some drivers no ?

im having no luck getting mame2003 to work . I did manage to get neogeo to work . you know if anyone has done a vid on the mame process ? i know im close but no idea what ive done wrong

Same issue here with DKC, visuals are terrible. I'm going to try snes9x2010 and snes9x2002 core and see if that give better visuals. If you use snes9x2010 just don't save any game and there are no problems with that core, is if you save just see you don't go above the 300MB space.

Please let me know by either replying to me here or pm'ing me, if you get visual improvements with a different SNES core. The ability to save the game is key to being able to play it, and while in-game / ram saves are all well and good -- being able to save-state makes things so much simpler. :)

I use fbalphaneo and it does same thing. it creates save point but when you go into it the game just reboots. So neo saves don't work from what I can see. I use 2010 just for the dkc games. Save points do work as well.

You can you just need to download a seperate hakchi. So rename your old hakchi from hakchi2 to anything you want. Then when you download hakchi2 it will create a brand new folder. Then dump and flash new system. Then copy over your games folder and your usermods from other hakchi. Then you should be able to add in your retro arch and mods and sync. Might have to redo folder structure tho and some other minor settings.

want missing sounds for Donkey Kong FBA?

thanks to dezign999, he told me how to do it with mame2003 & i used the method for fba

goto \bios_template.hmod\etc\libretro\system
make a fba folder
inside fba folder make a samples folder
put missing samples zip in the samples folder

install bios template mod.. done

Is there any way to introduce different keys on caprice? So I can move and select items on the game's menus... Using the Mini NES controller of course.

Does anyone know how to add the two-player versions of the simpsons or TMNT? I'm using the FBA core. Thanks.

Go to this link.
http://mamerominfo.retrogames.com/
On the right hand side of the list, click on the 0.78 version and open the zip file. Its a document that has the shortened version and the long version so you know what the game name actually is.

What core are you using w the working Neo Geo games? Also, what way did you setup Neo Geo since there's a couple ways to do it (setup a bios, have neogeo.zip inside 1 game folder, etc)
