Hacking hacks remover is NOT working :(

I just updated preloader, removed all hacks, used HICv4 to make an updated ini for pal 0.28, then applied all new hacks.
Then for shits and giggles tried using hack remover, rebooted the wii and its still got no health screen no bgm and region free.... wtf?
EDIT: tried several times, no luck.
Tried ATD512 that was loaded into preloader and when i select any of the options (ie installed channels) it code dumps!>>?
Any quick fixes for these?
