Homebrew Hackingtoolkit3DS not a valid romfs binary

I download super smash bros CIA extract the romfs with 3ds hacking tool kit and when i select the romfs to extract he says "not a valid romfs binary", i need to use another tool to extract romfs?

i don't know, i do the same thing what i did other times i download the cia, i make the romfs and extract the file

Try decrypting it with Decrypt9/Hourglass9. If it's already decrypted it'll tell you.

this programs is on 3DS? i download the cia on pc because a don't have space on SD

For now, the only way to decrypt ROMs is using the 3DS (because the keys are hidden in the bootrom and are currently not dumpable except through a complete decapping).

Or move your nintendo 3ds folder to your pc to save space on the sd card. After you decrypt the cia, move it back.

Yes, which im assuming is why you've run out of space

yep, im using a 8gb sd and pokémon sun are installed XD, i move the folder to my pc and im already creating ROMFS of my smash bros cartridge ^^

ouch, this might seem redundant but...... arm9loaderhax could fix a lot of your issues rn. Or if you do have it and you just use an emunand it's super easy to switch to sysnand.

I need help with mine I used the kacking tool kit and rebuilt the cia file but fbi wont intall it should I just use devmenu then or something else because fbi failed to install two times someone HELP ME

extract .3ds by latest hackingtoolkit, i can't get a "extracted" file .
but use 5.4 version, it works.....
and rebuilded file's volume is bigger than original
