Hacking Hacking firmware 3.4u (help)

I am hacking my cousin's wii but its really outdated to 3.4u and when i go to http://hbc.hackmii.com/download/?c=1 i see the twilight- hack-beta2.zip which is made for 3.4u, perfect! next step ill have to get homebrew channel, problem is its called hackmii installer now and it doesnt have boot.dol, it has boot.elf will this be a problem? can someone give me the proper files? it kinda has to be the twilight hack because i have no other games but zelda and if i update it, i might update it too much..maybe a tut would be nice but all of them has the same info, they all say boot.dol but nothing about hackmii

Twilight hack??? Please, use something not outdated. Bannerbomb works on all versions and doesn't require a copy of Zelda.

We generally don't use the Twilight Hack anymore
It's all bannerbomb now

But afaik, the TH will load boot.elf as well

yeh man, go to this topic, follow the guide step by step, itll allow you to update to 4.2 using files offline after you install bannerbomb, bootmii, homebrew channel, and then will allow you the easiest way to modify the wii to allow for sd channel wad installs working, as well as usb loader compatibility and neogammer etc etc.

Follow it properly, its the best way of doing things, doing what you planned to with twilight hack now means you can run into other issues with less up to date info if something goes wrong.

This guide above, i've had mates with no tech knowledge at all sort their wiis in no time at all.
