Since Pushmo/Pullblox was recently hacked by elisherer, I figured we could make a thread for hacked QR codes.
Here's one, which is a shiny Giratina Origin form from Pokemon that I made:

That's great to hear. I like puzzles that you can create from the Level Maker, but are still beatable and look cool.

What is the point of having hacked Pushmo codes? Are you now able to create bigger levels than in the level editor or something?

You can make impossible levels, and IMO, it's easier than making it in the built-in level editor.

Beat it my first try without even thinking, I was just pullin' rdm blocks too.
But I have to admit it was really fun for user content hope they come up with more.

Can we exploit something with this?
Impossible. There is not enough data held in QR codes for them to hold any significant amount of code, let alone enough for it to even execute any lines of code. At the most you would be able to crash the program.

Keep in mind, everything is still sandboxed, that has to be exploited too, which requires even more code.

Pushmo was actually hacked initially to attempt code injection. There is plenty of room for a basic exploit to be run, it just didn't pan out the way that we had hoped. In fact, the possibility for code injection was the only reason bushing took an interest in the project in the first place. The hopes were, since the name buffer was open-ended and searched for a string terminator, we could remove the terminator and overflow into surrounding memory. It has been done, to some extent, but nothing fruitful at this point. A lot of altered graphics and what not.

EDIT: So no, not impossible. Just unlikely at this point in the 3DS homebrew lifecycle.

Can anyone post the link for this QR code maker (I am having so many ideas right now, I think my head could explode...je je je!). I tried going to the website that was mentioned in the second or third post (http://game-hackers.com), but alas it seems to be a bit soupy right now.

Edit: nevermind, I found it. If someone wants me to repost the link, I can.
