is it possible to update SX Loader to work with 11.0.0? I believe the last FW to support it was 10.2. Definitely a convenient piece of software.

That code is not on any github, and needs updated by the people (Wain), that have the source code. I doubt you'll get any updates again - you'd probably have had an update months ago if there was ever going to be one.

Looks like shit in mgba, and the readme says it doesn't work on real hardware either - however, the music is nice

I was able to enable the fourth icon and assign the atmosphere boot logo to it but I cannot seem to enable the functionality. The SXOS menu just freezes when I select it. I see some options for it in the script but do not understand how to pick an option properly. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Put a payload called boot.bin in the root of your sd card.

You mean the auto loader? it works with fw 11...

Hey all and thank to all of you's that are working on this amazing costom sxos loving the custom boot menu but was wondering if u could do a custom rommenu background cause I just hate seeing the sxos logo on it and can some one please update Pplay so that it will loads usb on sxos and not just atmosphere

SXOS is constantly scanning drives for xci/nsp games and dlc when usb is connected, that's the reason things like Tinwoo perform rubbish on SXOS if an SXOS folder is present on an external drive when using Tinwoo - if this is the case with you, try renaming any SXOS folder on your external drive and see if Pplay works better.
