I think that if they mean "Last .hack//" they mean it. They've done prequels and spinoffs before. Unless they make a new version of "The World" again...which also wouldn't fit into the lore, their really isn't much more they could do. And while the character at the bottom looks suspiciously like Kite, I wouldn't be surprised if it was merely a cameo since the rest looks nothing like what we've seen in .hack before.

Is it that crappy 2D one I found once? Cause it had a nice interface and stuff... I couldn't get it to play though.
